Debbie Moon is a full-time educator. She is an Associate Professor of Dental Hygiene at Moreno Valley College, as well as the Director of the Dental Hygiene Program there. She is dedicated to the academic and life success of the students enrolled in the dental hygiene program. She knows first-hand of the value of the education students receive in this program, as she was a graduate of the very same program that she now directs. After working for a number of years in private practice, she began her education career as a part-time instructor (while still working full-time in private practice) and eventually made the transition to full-time faculty member.
Academically, Debbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Northern Arizona University, and a Master of Arts in Learning Technologies degree from Pepperdine University. Her Pepperdine experience gave her a rich understanding of the potential that digital technologies have in educating people, and she is encouraged by Romoland’s dedication to providing students with access to digital tools.
